Indications

Pepto Bismol Original Caplet is an over counter oral medication used to relieve symptoms of an upset stomach and diarrhea. It can be used to relieve other symptoms such as nausea, heartburn, and indigestion.

The caplets contain bismuth subsalicylate, which is the active ingredient in Pepto Bismol. Bismuth subsalicylate can help to kill some of the bacteria that can cause diarrhea. Pepto Bismol Caplets can also be used to relieve other symptoms such as nausea, heartburn, and indigestion.

Use and Dosage

To use Pepto Bismol Caplets, swallow the Caplets with water, do not chew them. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration.
