Indications

Clobex Shampoo is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Scalp Psoriasis and Corticosteroid-responsive Dermatoses. The active ingredient in Clobex shampoo is clobetasol propionate, which is a super-high potent topical corticosteroid. It works by reducing swelling, itching, and redness on the affected area of the scalp.

Clobetasol helps reduce the swelling, itching and redness that can occur with this condition. It is not recommended for use in children or those less than 18 years of age due to an increased risk of side effects.

Uses and Dosage

To use Clobex shampoo, follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider. Typically, it should be applied as a thin layer directly to the affected area of the dry scalp once a day. Rub the shampoo gently onto the lesions and leave it on for 15 minutes. After that, wet your hair, lather, and rinse thoroughly. Do not to use more than 50 mL of the shampoo per week, and to use for the prescribed duration of treatment.
