Indications

Lolo Birth Control is oral medication indicated to prevent unwanted pregnancy. It is a low-dose combination birth control pill that contains two hormones: ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone acetate. Norethindrone acetate - ethinyl estradiol belongs to the class of medications called oral contraceptives (birth control pills). It is an estrogen (ethinyl estradiol) and progestin (norethindrone acetate) combination used to prevent pregnancy.

Lolo Birth Control works by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to prevent sperm from reaching an egg, and thinning the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation. It changes in the mucus of the cervix which makes it difficult for sperm to penetrate the egg and for an egg to implant in the wall of the uterus.

Uses and Dosage

Lolo Birth Control can be taken with food or on an empty stomach, take it at the same time every day to ensure maximum effectiveness. Your doctor can advise you on the best time to start your pills, either on the first day of your menstrual period (known as "Day 1") or on the first Sunday after your period starts. During the first 7 days of the first cycle of pill use, use a second method of birth control, such as latex condoms and spermicidal foam or gel.

The recommended dosage and administration of Lolo birth control should be followed exactly as prescribed by a healthcare provider. Some of the search results suggest taking one tablet daily for 24 days, followed by a different color tablet for 2 days, and then another color tablet for 2 days, while others suggest taking one tablet daily for 28 days. The recommended dosage may vary depending on individual circumstances and medical history. Therefore, talk to a healthcare provider to determine the appropriate dosage and administration of Lolo birth control.
