Indications

Kaopectate Liquid Vanilla is an anti-diarrheal and upset stomach reliever medication that is used to treat symptoms such as diarrhea and upset stomach.

Kaopectate comes in a liquid form with a pleasant vanilla flavor. Kaopectate Vanilla Liquid is made with bismuth subsalicylate, which not only treats the symptoms but also kills bacteria that can cause diarrhea. It also contains key electrolytes that help you stay hydrated while you recover.

Use and Dosage

To use Kaopectate Liquid Vanilla Suspension, you should follow the instructions provided on the label or as prescribed by your doctor. You should shake the bottle well before each use to ensure proper mixing of the medication. Then, you should take the medication orally, using the provided measuring spoon or dropper to measure out the correct dose.

  • The recommended dose for adults is usually 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of the suspension every 30 to 60 minutes, as needed, for diarrhea or upset stomach relief. The maximum daily dose is 16 tablespoons (240 ml).
  • For children aged 12 years and above, the recommended dose is also 2 tablespoons (30 ml) every 30 to 60 minutes, as needed, for up to 8 doses per day.
