For the capsule form, 375 mg should be taken two times a day for 7 days. Children should be given the dosage prescribed by their doctor.
- For bacterial vaginosis in adults, 750 milligrams (mg) should be taken once a day for 7 days. Children should also take the dosage prescribed by their doctor.
