Before taking Imdur, tell your healthcare provider about your complete medical history, including any allergies, medical conditions, and all medications you are taking. This helps ensure the medication is safe and appropriate for you.

You may experience:
- Dizziness.

- Fainting, especially when standing up quickly.
To reduce the risk of falls, rise slowly from a sitting or lying position.

Liver and Kidney Disease
If you have liver disease or kidney disease, tell your healthcare provider before starting Imdur. You may require closer monitoring during treatment.
Important Reminder
Imdur is designed to prevent angina (chest pain) and should be taken regularly as prescribed. It is not intended to treat a sudden angina attack. If you develop sudden chest pain, follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for using your fast-acting nitroglycerin and seek emergency medical attention if your symptoms do not improve.
