Indications

Gaviscon Regular Strength Fruit is an antacid that helps to relieve symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux. It is available in chewable tablet form with a soothing fruit blend flavor. It provides fast relief from heartburn and acid reflux that lasts for hours due to its foaming action.

The active ingredients in Gaviscon Regular Strength Fruit are Alginic Acid and Magnesium Carbonate. These ingredients work by neutralizing stomach acid and forming a protective layer on top of the stomach contents, preventing acid from flowing back up into the esophagus and causing heartburn and acid reflux.

Use and Dosage

Gaviscon Regular Strength comes in the form of a Chewable Strawberry tablet to take it orally usually once a day. Chew thoroughly before swallowing, then drink a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters). Take Gaviscon after meals or before bedtime, or as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose or use it for a longer period than advised.

Chew 2-4 tablets after meals and at bedtime as needed (up to 4x a day), or as directed by a doctor. For the best results follow with a half glass of water or other liquid. Do not take more than the recommended dose or use it for a longer period than advised. If your symptoms persist or worsen despite taking Gaviscon, seek medical advice.

If you miss a dose of Gaviscon Regular, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.
