Indications

Visine Advance Allergy is an eye medication used to provide fast relief from the symptoms of eye allergies, including itching, excessive tearing, and redness. It is an advanced formula that combines antihistamine (Pheniramine) and decongestant (Naphazoline) to effectively relieve allergy symptoms and reduce discomfort.

The antihistamine blocks histamines, which are naturally occurring substances in the body that cause allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and redness. The decongestant works by narrowing blood vessels in the eye, which reduces swelling and relieves redness. This combination provides fast relief of eye allergy symptoms caused by irritants or allergens such as pollen, dust, and pet hair.

Use and Dosage

Use Visine Advance Allergy eyedrops in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times a day as needed or as directed by your doctor. Remove contact lenses before applying the eye drops. Wait at least 10 minutes after using the drops before inserting contact lenses. If your eyes are red, ask your doctor whether you should wear your contact lenses.

To use Visine Advance Allergy eye drops:

  1. First wash your hands thoroughly.
  2. Then, tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
  3. Hold the dropper directly over the eye and place one drop into the pocket.
  4. Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure. This will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye.
  5. Repeat with the other eye if instructed to do so by your doctor or pharmacist.

Be sure to follow any additional instructions provided by your healthcare professional and do not exceed the recommended dosage. As always, if you experience any unusual symptoms or have concerns about your eye health, be sure to consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
