Qvar

Qvar is used to prevent and control asthma. It works by preventing certain cells in the lungs and breathing passages from releasing substances that cause asthma symptoms.

This medicine may be used with other asthma medications, such as Bronchodilators (open up narrowed breathing passages) like Salbutamol or Ipratropium or Corticosteroids that are taken orally.

Before using Qvar, tell your doctor: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding; if you and/or your child are taking any other prescription medicine (especially Prednisone), non-prescription medicine, herbal preparations, or dietary supplements; if you have been treated with steroids for a long period of time; if you have experienced nasal septum ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma.
